I've been lucky enough to find 4 examples of the scarce (2,000 made) caliber 601 Memovox (alarm pointer hand instead of rotating alarm disc) for my collection, but I recently noticed that I also have its twin in a U.S. version watch.
The cal 601 movement was only installed in Swiss market watches and (to the best of my knowledge) only one case style:

The JLC cal 601 Memovox has an 80 micron gold plated (gold-filled by U.S. standards) case with Swiss markings and was made for JLC by Wadsworth:

The production dates are also very close together, with the cal 601 movement having a 735,000 serial number (1952) that is just 15,000 away from the serial number of the caliber 489/1 movement in the U.S. watch:
