Agreed, but it wouldn't work ...
on all watches.
The look, the spirit of the Duometre works very well with this dial, but not on a more modern looking watch, such as an Amvox, for example.
Nor on a Polaris, though.
What you need is an elegant, dressy and classic watch, in my opinion.
The Duometre is a perfect competitor for this kind of dial.

That on the platinum version, the dial is made of grained platinum ( yes, you read well ), and 12 grams of platinum is used for that. On the RG version, the dial is silvered grained, execurted by hand. Hope this will be of some help. Best, Nicolas
