great to see both of them side by side and I was DEFINITELY convinced to add another Duometre to my collection. The next will certainly be a white gold black dial and I am in the same predicament as you my friend. I thought about adding the WG Duometre Lunaire with black dial but after seeing your Chronograph I could see adding that watch as well. The choice is not as clear as one might think since I believe there is enough difference in the black and grey dial versions to justify having both 
I think the platinum with it's monotone dial and case really adds a stealthy look to the watch and hides the BEAST within. It can be worn with almost anything as it looks so casual with absolutely no bling factor. I really like that aspect. Most people don't even notice it which is an added plus for me.
I currently have a few incoming so it will have to wait a little but I am a patient man. Next time we have lunch my friend, hopefully I will have another Duometre to join the photoshoot.
One last thing, who looks at their watches to tell the time anyways? Most of the time when I glance down to take a peek at any of my watches, I find myself gazing at the watch and totally forget why I was looking at it in the first place.

Indeed, we admire time more than we read it. And honestly, I don't really care about its relative legibility. This understated version is very appealing to me.
