Jaeger-LeCoultre

Chronograph controls

So Amvox returns back to the chronograph controlled by traditional push-buttons.

Is it to be interpreted as a sign of discontinuation to the vertically controlled one, by svivelling saphire? For what reasons? (E.g., quality/reliability reasons, or simply users disliked the fingerprints on the crystal? .-)) )

Or is it rather the lack of willingness to adjust the 752 movement to the vertically controlled system? - Any hint/opinion on this?
