Didn’t know it was your first as well! As for the strap, original lot went with the honey colored leather from JLC but this one just works so much better during warmer times

I like that strap.

I always had a soft spot for these early Master Compressor watches from the "golden era" of JLC!

A golden era, I mean.

And uncomplainingly - and looked good at it

Not as elegant as yours but then more meters of juice resistance

But not so much in terms of wearing comfort…

It’s a lovely watch for so many reasons - design, innovation, all of what I feel is not as prominent nowadays as it used to be back then

Love the strap combo as well!

Hope JLC, under new CEO, bring this series back.

So much character there! Only one point I see a tad differently - I would prefer if the new CEO brings a comparable level of innovation, rather than relaunch the same series

But would be nice!
