I quickly introduced this Watch, just before the SIHH. It is now time to better understand it. I first thought that a minute repeater is a challenging exercize, when it comes in an ultra thin case, as I had in mind the sound of these big and thick Pocket ...  

A great "exercise"as you said. At first a bit disappointed about a tourbillon in this exquisite minute repeater,but then after the live experience I understood the complexity of such an incredible interpretation. I was often wondering if I would prefer it... 

both to JLC and to the world of horology. Luckily, i had the opportunity to see and hear it in Geneve and I agree with all of your points, it sounds very promising. I think the solution to the delay of absent quarter hours in MRs is brilliant and AFAIK ha... 

JLC already found a technical solution for that. Silent blocks. Like in cars! It would not be tolerable to have such a Watch " woooobbling " when the rotor moves, would it? Still some improvements on the minte repeater, and I can't wait to hear the final ... 

., was specifically intrigued by the combimed MR Sound System ( Trebuchet & gong), as well this unobtrusive view on the spiral and movement, and last but not least - the elegantly back and forth circular "swinging" through the peripheral windows on the di... 

This is a very nice exercize, which comes out of all the tourbillon and MR that brands can produce today. More is not always better. They tried here to bring something interesting while dealing with difficulty. To me, the work is totally coherent and uniq... 

Must say that so far - this is my favourite MR from JLC. There are a couple of design points I would perfer not to be included... Will look at / read your report a few more times before commenting on these. Best, my friend Blomman

Something to re-read and re-discover over and over again as our dear friend blomman said there are some points with design In my case only one regret and that is "windows" on the dial without them it would look way much better for me but hey you can't sat...

I am kinnda in the same camp as Damjan...the windows on the dial.. I understand the rotor and bring "life" to a dial..but the tourby is already there.. however, I have always loved minute repeaters with the JLC MMR as my grail... the elimination of the br... 

Q? What is the size of this watch? Did you write it and I missed it..?! As for the rotor - I think it is a brilliant solution - love the open case back and the decoration on the bridges! But, I would have prefered smaller "holes" in the dial, or maybe onl... 

You have to see it in the real, you will have a better idea. Now, as for the Tourbillon, I am not a big fan of that sophistication, so I can undertand your feeling, here. But an Hybris Mechanica has to offer more than one complication to deserve such an a...

The fact that we are in the market or not, for this Watch, is not the most important, indeed. The mastery, the maturity we can see through this Watch is to me the key point. I am just impatient to test, aesthetically and acoustically, the definitive Watch...

Wonderful review, and just an absolute superb watch. I think the dial isn't "cold" at first glance at all though. There is something about that grained finish that I think really makes it special. Thanks for giving us the more in depth details. Mark

From the pics, it looks like the spring is attached to one of the arms of the balance wheel and the collet, is that accurate? In that case, is the shaft of the balance wheel fixed, holding the bearing for the balance wheel, instead of being linked to the ...

There's no reason they can't have 2, counter-rotating balances on the same shaft. That's resonance for you! A

Brilliant idea! By the way, is there the same kind of balance wheel that we can see in Gyrotourbillons? I mean Gyromax type and 18K gold as a material. Thanks for very perceptual review, Nicolas! Vitaly.

Which are actually made of 14 K Gold. And yes, this is the same principle than the Gyromax, but JLC doesn't call it this way. Best, Nicolas

Seeing and living the evolution of the Minute Repeater by JLC is really something. This " 11 " may be a milestone, and not only among JLC watches! Best, Nicolas

I would love to get the chance to see one of these in person. I have to admit I'm not in love with the cutouts on the dial though. Specifically I wish the tourbillon wasn't visible from the front of the watch.

Extraordinary watch! At this level and taking into account the price JLC doesn't need LE. I hope they will not "re-issue" it in LE in a different metal (see Master Minute Repeater). Thanks, Constantin

A very impressive addition to the top of JLC's range! A wearable masterpiece with nice modern touches, like the pusher lock and a bit of water resistance, is always pleasant to see. An automatic movement is an interesting distinction, but in this case the...
