Hello dear O. Agree with your comments about Omega, and I feel the trilogy you mention is a very interesting approach to a basic collection of this brand.
About the comments about other brands I feel the collecting world has witnessed a very crazy raise in prices and shortage of stocks taking some brands/models to unreachable levels for the common watch lover.
One of my beloved brands Rolex is a good example, as well as the other brands you mention.

I have loved this model for years without having had the opportunity to get my hands on it or to put it on my wrist. It's a fact that I haven't (yet) caught the Black Dial Duometer ... but it's an offering to Dr Mamadou to bewitch some of their owners ......
