And yes, although I had started my JLC-safa with Reverso(s) and the " regular" Master Series,
with Master Moon & M Geographic, the later addition to theJLC portfolio with
TT Polaris, Amvox 1, etc, also for me was sort of eye-opening & history looking,

- And you are totally right, this " half-turn"- sealing of the crowns was something unique for the diver- pieces; so was the very smart look of these Compressors with their unmistakenly
recognizeable designer handwriting and their later influence on a whole series of
Compressor family - members !

Am fully with you, when reflecting about the place in evolution of JLC pieces, being
( well almost) at pair with Reverso, Master and others.

On a personal note - yes, I love to time and again wear my MCM, as member of a
(somewhat underrated) family of real design cornerstones and specifics, with Alarm, Date, moving bezel, and of course, the Compressor case, in a strong appeal but still
charming package..- The DNA is characteristic and pleasing.

- Therefore and again, thank you for your long comments, I truly loved to read,
and your kind looking, as an obviously believer in these series,
which you commented to enjoy yourself..
