i have 'taken the plunge' my friend already!
i have paid £2k deposit and have a guaranteed NS GMT chrono. hurray! i dont have a GMT in my collection at all and when- not if (!) the 68 polaris turns up in the uk i will have an alarm covered.
i think i may have gone crazy but today i also took my first real JLC taste. the "jeagerai" pam 190. its lovely. anyway safe to say this 190, the 68 tribute and the GMT NS have eaten all my funds and more for 2009 and 2010, but hey life is for living right?

This alarm mechanism, is this the same as that found in the MC extreme geographic version ? Does this also have the special alloy with the gong attached to the middle of the case ? or is this the old MC memovox calibre with ceramic ball bearings ?
