I'd say the case is well chosen...
It is classical enough that it will not age quickly, which IMHO is important to many owners, who are unlikely to possess a large collection but for whom this may be the only 'nice watch'. At the same time I fully agree with your comment on the lugs - those are exceptionally well done

The dial is such a beautiful blue
that it's hard to concentrate on the case. In fact, this blue would enhance any case.
MUT Small Second Blue
I saw the MUT Small Second Blue in the flesh today. The blue is extremely beautiful and gives a very nice contrast to the hands. The crown has also been improved over the regular model (it's thicker) and the lug width is 20mm instead of 19mm. The size is ...

I have the older 37mm RDM. The new case is just as elegant, but the lugs look a little brawnier, which suits the bigger 39mm case. I like this one!
What manufature....?
I'm (almost) speechless. Just when I'm in the market for a Jaeger Lecoultre, this model's dial lay out and colour are very much.... Ulysse Nardin!
