I'm a huge fan of the MUT Perpetual and giving serious consideration to the black dialed version...
... not only because it offers greater "value" in stainless steel, but mainly because the background color of the year aperture is the same color as the dial... less of a distraction if you must have the year indicator.
Out of curiosity, do you know why the Perpetual Calendar complication isn't offered in the Duometre line? I think that too would be sensational...

The black and grey dials are obviously the most interesting ones as they offer a better contrast compared to the white dial. The new rotor is a step forward too. Much more appealing than the previous version (sad and boring for me)

The black option is a great choice from JLC in my opinion because since it is in steel the watch is available to people that maybe usually could not afford a PC, so again a very competitive choice. Regarding the one I prefer is for sure the one with grey

This is a beautiful piece
I had the pleasure of trying it on at the JLC boutique in NYC and Its one gorgeous piece! However, the black dial didn't look as nice in the metal as it does in pictures- felt cheap.
Tough choice.
I like the grainy silver dial. I like the contrast between the black dial and the golden moon. I like the "nobleness" and softer tone of the grey dial. And the new rotor is a very welcoming change. All in all a fantastic offer from JLC.

but I find them too slim on the case edge, and the crown is too diminutive. I do like slim cases, but I don't prefer the look of the MUT case on my wrist, or the feel of the crown. I know I am in a very small minority here. I much prefer the regular Maste...
