I agree that the misaligned chrono pushers results in a rather strange profile
The previous Master Chronograph had the pushers properly aligned with the crown but that was a fully integrated movement. I think it's a shame that they didn't retain the chronograph in the lineup, I personally think that the chrono/calendar will have less appeal.

Yes, to be seen in the flesh, before any final judgement. I can agree on the unnecessary wording, a curious habit, indeed. As for the size of the chono subdials, a matter of taste.

The out of line pushers and crown
Are an unfortunate result of the modular construction. See all the various watches utilizing Dubois-Depraz chronograph modules. I don't like it.
759 is an integrated chronograph - not modular. The 866AA and 899AC are hacking.
Chiming in because the basic movement is the 751 - a fully integrated chronograph. The calendar works is (reported to be) a module. As for why the pushers are out of alignment, I have no idea, and an explanation from JLC would be most helpful. I have no i...
