I appreciate the care JLC used to conceive this watch.
Of course, the Lume should be more important, or should not exist at all, as you pointed out.
As for the case back, I much prefer the new one, and I'm not disturbed that it is not golden, like on the former ones.
I see it as a modern re interpretation of the IGY Logo, which can be seen on the Géomatic, for instance.
This is a well born, conceived and thought watch.
It is immediately percpetible, IMO, as well as with the new Memovox.

I'm hoping I don't have to fly out somewhere to pick up the boutique edition, it seems much nicer than the regular SS.
I don't think the Boutique Edition is nicer than the " normal " SS Chrono.
It is just different, warmer, more contrasted, less understated, less discrete, less sober. Honestly, I love both for their own character, and wouldn't be able to say that one is my favourite. Best, Nicolas
