I got the steel version :)
It's quite a long waitlist in the Singapore boutique being a special edition! I grabbed it when i had the chance 
the manufacture seems slow in producing the steel boutique special edition
I think the contrast is ok enough to read

Although initially more to the "smooth" WG one, traditional style.. I have to say.. ;)
.. That the strong ss one with those accented indices & dial, has something going for it.. But wait .. Not really, maybe: like the golden moon on the WG still better ! On the other hand, the budget thoughts might play a role, as well, which route to follo...

Stainless steel for me. Also, I'm not a fan of the high-contrast hands and markers of the white gold version. I prefer the subtlety and reserved quality of the ss overall, especially since the dial is already very "busy". Of course I wouldn't decline the ...
I like both!
Though the grained effect of the latter adds character and depth. I've always enjoyed JLC's entire current master perpetual style range.
