Admittedly, I'm not familiar with too many "vintage" watches. I've never seen any of those before, so those pictures just strengthen my attraction towards MJLC!

Hi Nicolas, I think these calendar watches are very compelling in the round (particularly that last example with the teardrop lugs), but I'm unconvinced by the rectangular option. The date display feels squished and the dial doesn't share the same balance... 

I mean on the triple date. You have to see it in the flesh, it is just ...Captivating! I feel this is the start of a nex love affair, as I have to confess that I didn't pay much attention to them, before... Best, Nicolas

If you look at the Memovox, the Date, the Reversos, the Memovox, the DSA, and so on, the link with the past is obvious. To me, that's even JLC's strength! Best, my friend. Nicolas

Hi Nicolas. Beautiful examples of classic JLC design. But with a twist no? I think the white dials were more common. Very interesting with the four or five letter date/month windows - I don't often see that. Which vintage might these be? Thanks for postin... 

They are even more elegant, while the black, as always, has more strength, but looks warmer, too, due to the contrast of the radium numbers and the black dial. The red writings are the cherry on the cake. Would like to see a kind of reinterpretation of th...

teardrops lugs(Kari for example)...but when they grace a case that grace such a charming timepiece ..well its hard not to start developing a vintage bug....ooooh no.....I don t want that,I have my list of modern and I want to stick to that!!!!Fantastic pi... 

When you're in front of such beauties are the Memos, the Polaris, The DSA, the Futurematic, the Geophysic ...The list is too long! BUT what I would really like to see is JLC developping a case such as this, with these damn beautiful teardrops. No need to ...
