It is not a cheap watch. I love JLC and only "like" the reverso design. I'd love to own a minute repeater, but if it's not the "right" or "perfect" one, I should wait. I will be honest. Looking at it in person was a bit underwhelming. I didn't feel the urge to own it ASAP as I would with many pieces before. It just didn't speak to me as much in person. The idea of it is wonderful, but the physicality of it is only okay. I don't think it is a popular enough brand or model in my city, so I can wait and think about it a bit longer.
Moreover, with the new releases from SIHH and Basel, I may allocate the funds towards some of the new references that are released. I am also waiting to see those in person. Namely, JLC Polaris Chrono WT, two-tone GMT-Mater II...

that you have listened to the Reverso minute repeater because it is not very loud! But if you are fine with it, that is all that matters.

I am aware of the loudness or lack of of this particular MR. Nevertheless, I should make a trip to the dealer if I decide to purchase it.

Even tho not many were produced, 500 to be exact. There always seem to have one or two available on the market at any given time. So unless you are offered a really good deal or the ltd edition number has a special meaning to you, I don’t see why you need...

There are many minute repeaters out there. However, there is only one kind of PanoRetroGraph - itself. It chimes too! I'm biased for sure, but I feel the PRG is much more mechanically interesting than a minute repeater for its sheer uniqueness... Regards,... 

This Reverso has not the best chime but a great appealing (your GO too).

Produced in a limited edition of 500, the Reverso Repetition Minutes is a timeless classic piece with a form movement. The chimes are not loud but beautiful tone and correctly spaced.

I would keep the Panoretrograph, for what it is, a quite unique chronograph. And I would wait to get a Reverso Minute Repeater. But I would really consider getting one.

was I gave her a listen by finding a clip on YouTube. She was fascinated by it. She used to despise rectangular watches, but this one got her attention. Haha
