When the Master Compressor Memovox was unveiled in 2002, it was a revolution, based on a technical novelty, the compressor crown, and on a look, strongly inspired from one of the icons of the brand, the Polaris. A Polaris revisited, if you prefer. It came...

seem to me much stronger than those of the current Polaris series. Perhaps I am too much rooted in the past - but the Compressor Memovox is more straightforward design, bolder, more masculine. And withstands the test of time very well. And this Pt version... 

They were not and they still are not consensual. But with time passing, they are more and more appreciated... The Polaris series is different, more consensual, less bold. To each his own. Thanks for your feedback, Petr. Much appreciated. Nicolas

Thank you for sharing my favorite of the Master Compressor series! Not only was the blue dial prescient, but its color and texture help the white and red accents to POP more distinctly. Also, this watch recalls a time when Jaeger-LeCoultre included a plat... 

I never got why with the double folding buckle, JLC opted for white gold rather than platinum. Best, Nicolas

Agree with you Nico, that’s why I bought 2 of the 16mm pin buckles as spares (the classic styling). You may still be able to get from some ADs but it has been discontinued. Now the pin buckles are with those huge JLC logos (I personally cannot understand ...

Ioved the Platinum, 250 pieces of the MUT, the QP, the RdM, the MM, the Geographic, and the Master Grande Memovox - including this one. I would love to see the blue/navy strap with red stitch....THAT would be killer! -Deam
