I wonder if it's possible to just put the year window at the back..
Granted that it may not be easy to do being an ultra thin and all. But its info that you don't need to be reminded of every day. Plus, I don't even mind having a sealed case back with just an small window showing the year perhaps.
Having said that, if I were in the market for a perp, this would be on my number one list. It is very beautiful and prefer it over the silver dial version.

perfect size and thickness. I would be an improvement if they could redesign the year window or even better delete it. It’s crazy not to be able to adjust the calendar through the crown.

i don't recollect which brand...i recently saw a PC model where the year window is taken to the 'case back' view so it doesn't break the dial symmetry. despite the year-window, i like this version over the new version...i think in this version 'everything...
