Finally we get to see how the inside of this mystery watch works. LeCoultre has the ability to reduce the size of its engineers to within millimeteres. HERE we can see inside a LeCoultre (4 ) of the men running the watch movement, the man on the RIGHT is on constant standby when the watch owner wants to use the chronograph, Ever wonder WHY your not supposed to change the dates and day between 12 and 3am? thats because there is a WORK shift change and they need time to swap places,
The two men in the middle are moving the minute and hour hands, as soon as the minute hand hits 12 he taps the hour hand guy to advance the hour hand, the man on the LEFT? hes the AUTOMATIC winding guy. He sleeps most of the time BUT be assured when he feels the watch move it means the owner is UP and the watch needs to be wound, CAUTION.. dont put this watch on an auto winding machine. The man will never get any sleep and may become exhausted and fatigued. This is usually when they need servicing and the man has to be replaced.
SO next time you wind your lecoultre or to see what time it is remember to be kind. and IF by chance you let your watch run out and need to rewind it. do it slowly..
