This was one of the Mater Control pieces I looked at so many times and even came quite close to getting. As you say, there is something intriguing and exotic about this watch. I came across the white dial several times but had my mind set on the black, so...

and when I called back it was gone. It didn't have box or papers, so that one might have been just as well. However, I DO wish JLC would release this dial variant in the more recent Polaris - or, better yet, START SELLING AND UPDATED COMPRESSOR LINE AGAIN...

Indeed, this was the watch that more than any other that put JLC on my radar in the 1990s. It was an exciting era when you’d wait for the printed catalog every year, as they had so much innovation in those days.

Also for me, a Master Geographic was my first „round“ JLC, many years back and I still have it. Now I love my Polaris Geo + WT, which is one of my most loved modern JLCs meanwhile !.. Taking the liberty to send kind greetings from one house to another ! A...

I got so close to buying the MC several times like i (both the white dial and the black dial) never materialized though. I think I prefer the anniversary model these days.

Honestly I like the Polaris Geographique , I just wish it is in black
