Jaeger Lecoultre Black Memovoxes: E 855 versus E 859.

 

Non diving versus diving. Ok, the size is not the same, the case either, but the dials are very close, even if different in several points. E 855 Black from circa 1967:



E 859, Lecoultre Polaris 1965.

The indexes on the E 855 are more bent, the alarms dots are bigger and higher, on the Polaris 65, you can also notice that some are big, and some are small. The hands are not the same on the picture but Dauphine hands were also used on the Polaris 65, so it is not a difference. The Polaris 65 has applied hours numbers ( 12 and 6 ).
