Lecoultre Polaris 1968 and Lecoultre Deep Sea Alarm. 2 new pictures to celebrate a milestone.
I didn't find a nicer way to pay homage to my 2 partners in crime, my 2 faithful and trustful cameras, the Leica D Lux 4 and the D lux 6.
I have the D Lux 4 since 2009, and the D Lux 6 since March 2014. So, yes, they are quite old fellows.
I just noticed that the counters of my cameras displayed 101 000 pictures for the D Lux 4 and... 75 000 pictures for my D Lux 6.
The D Lux 4, catching the 101, 000th picture... It had to be one of my dearest vintage Lecoutlre, the Deep Sea Alarm:
And the 75, 000th picture taken with my D Lux 6 was... The Lecoultre Polaris 1968!
Without these 2 cameras, I couldn't have posted so many pictures, articles and posts.
