And worst of all it isn't my watch ... It belongs to a friend How the hell will I explain him that somehow I messed up his watch ?? I went swimming today and tried his JLC depth gauge. Everything seemed to be fine and when I came home I wanted to see some...

Very funny post! I honestly thought you had accidentally damaged your friends watch. If that was the case I would have recommended you lending him/her your 5070 while you bought him/her a new one! ;-)
