I never before noticed the angle of the date wheel - it seems to slope downwards as it goes to the outside. Also interesting to see the variety of cases and dials, yet all instantly identifiable as Memovoxes...I don’t think it’s just the inner dial with t... 

Early seventies would get my nod... but what about the sound? I assume the modern ones have a much improved sound

I just tried a Breguet Transatlantique réveil and the tone was a little disappointing. The best I have experienced remains the modernish Memovox
