... how long the indexes glow in the dark.

The ultimate purpose of these über-large luminous indexes was to

glow in the dark. Therefore on a historically correct and consistent

remake they need to glow too.

I cannot understand how JLC could sacrifice this for the sake of

a fake vintage dial. It seems like irony of fate to me that the real

vintage ones still glow in the dark, whilst their lookalike remakes

don't - and JLC must have known that, as most JLCs from the 60s

still glow at least for some time.
