Preaching to the choir here - but this is such a brilliant watch
When JLC moved to the XGT case size many years ago it gave them a bigger stage for their amazing skills.
Not only did it allow them to put in an 8-day movement. It also allowed them to get creative with the complications. In the Grande GMT here, we’re looking at a big date, a day/night indicator,, small seconds, two separate time indications, a power reserve indicator, a day/night indicator for the second timezone and - not least - an easy-to-use GMT-based adjustment of the second time zone.
To me, this is the essence of La Gramde Maison - serious and playful at the same time.
Anyway, as you can tell, I am quite happy to be strapping it back on.

Actually, I agree.
But it opens the possibilities re. Mechanical content. To me, the GT and the Tribute to 1931 cases are the best. The first for its size on the wrist, the other for its thin profile. Claus

nothing was impossible for JLC in the 1990's to place in the GT case, I mean much more "complicated complications" (except for the to mainsprings). Anyway, Claus, thank-you for reminding us of R GMT - nice shots! petr
