Reverso GT / XGT / Ultra Thin have all their fans.
The GT is superb on the wrist, not too big, nor too small. Superb, with some awesome watches, such as the Reverso Pt Nr 2 Tourbillon or its skeleton version, or the Sun Moon Platinum, or the Rose Gold LEs.... And so on.
Same for the XGT. I agree that they are a bit chunky, but this was the price to pay to have an 8 Day movement.
As for the UT, their success is lying on their simplicity. Less is more.
A date on a TTR 1931? Oooooh, no, not that!
It would simply ruin the beauty of the dial!
BUT if you are after a Reverso, with a case such as the Grande Ultra Thin, with a Date, so you should try the Reverso Calendar. A very nice triple calendar.

As an owner of an XGT sized Reverso, I also feel that it is somewhat boxier and less elegant than the other case sizes like the GT, the GRUT or the GR. We leave the Squadra out of this discussion as it is presented under a different light totally. I also ...

I would be surprised if JLC decide to stop the development
of the Reverso UT line... This is, with he GT case, the most successful case, for the Reverso, IMO. My guess is that there are chances you will be happy, one day. Best, Nicolas
