Side by side it's better to compare...
Il've hesitated because I like steel... but I prefer the DBS because of :
- The snake hand like on Amvox I because having something both close and different is interesting for me ;
- The red color on the chrono hand, the mechanism at 6 o'clock and on the words "lock/unlock" ... a sporty touch totally matching with a sport watch ;
- The transparent sub-counters in the center to let glimpse the mechanism and which become white to reveal the information: It gives an even more enigmatic side to this so particular chrono ;
- The white arc in the center gives a little more warmth to the watch while on the steel version, the dial is overall too cold for me;
- The black dial without texturer because the watch is already visually complicated and I find that it adds is too much;

This Dbs is less classic than the first Amvox 2 : I know that Amanico will say that the first one is the only one and that JLC made a non limited batch with this second limited série but … the Dbs has a black dial…. And I love black dials… Moreover this A...

This particular model is sitting in my watch box, as the sharp edges of the curved caseback hurt my wrist bones. Otherwise, it would be my only watch. Wear yours in good health Hussam

I love the monochrome look of the steel version.
It makes the Amvox 2 look more “grown up” - much as I love the other more colourful versions too! All the best, Jon

They told me....
they'd happily sell me a new PVD buckle. As far as the case is concerned, I have no idea! I doubt they would go through the trouble, they probably wouldn't even re-finish an existing buckle....
