So I Made My Decision
First, i want to thank all of you for your input. I went to my local AD today and tried on a lot of different watches. I started this process hoping to fill what i viewed as a gap in my admittedly minimal collection--something between a pure dress watch I wear only with tuxedos or for other formal occasions (a 1958 18k vintage Omega with a gold face and black aligator strap handed down to me) and watches i view as mostly sporty. Although i thought i was leaning toward something different, in the end, i guess i know what i like.
So here's my JLC collection thus far:
Very imaginative, right? All black straps . . . all black faces . . . all MC but, as i said, i guess i know what i like. I really appreciate many of the other JLC watches but in the end, I think these are a perfect blend of quality, style and refinement and i keep finding myself drawn back to them. And with the Tribute to Deep Sea Alram on the way . . . add another black on black to the collection! Maybe after it arrives I'll finally see fit to expand my horizons . . . .

Reverso Gran Sport Duo is more versatile, maybe.

And I'm already proud owner of the NSA (which i love) and the EWC. For me, the EWC is a bit too big and sporty to wear, say, to a business meeting or with a suit. The tribute might be a nice option. Do you know when it will be available?

Nicolas already has me signed up for a Tribute to Deep Sea and at the moment I'm leaning towards a Reverso Duo with a black and brow strap for ultimate versatility. One small hurdle may be corporate approval from the Mrs.
