As for the sapphire glass of the MC Diving Chrono, yes, it is thicker than the one of the MC Chrono, as the resistance to pressure commands to get a thicker sapphire glass.
The Blue and White window at 6 is a witness that shows you that the watch is running.
You have to know that the International rules about Diving watches require a second hand or this kind of witness.
You're correct about the Central seconds hand re to the Chrono.
