Some thoughts.
First of all, it is a big and thick watch. Well, thicker than big, to be honest. In platinum, a tad heavier than in rose gold. So, my first but mandatory advice is to try it on before making your mind on it.
In platinum, it is an exquisite watch, with its ruthenium dial and its 18 Kt Gold movement.
It is an interesting watch from an historical point of view: The first Reverso with the XGT case, the first using a 18 Kt Gold movement, the first to welcome the 8 Days power reserve movement, the first to get the big date, and so on...
Try it, it is worth a serious consideration.
Best,
Nicolas
