It's the way they're dealt with that matters.
Let's hope it returns quickly so you can get on with the enjoyment of wearing it.
You say the lume is poor? Under what circumstances? Initial brightness? Longevity? Any photos....(though photos are not very effective measures...)

with a watch (I will not name the manufacture) where something did not work the same evening I bought it.... things sometimes happen.... what is important is how the manufacture deals with it.... cheers
