Surgeons are blunt although they use sharp tools part5 of 7

Don't be mislead by the pretty girls and ladies.

These are all hardened business people, senior counsels at law, reasearch pHDs, and surgical staff, among them several prominent specialists of whom I have great respect for.

They were NOT watch enthusiasts ( at least 99% )! They wanted to know more of what was "going on" with this interest in watches.

The THING, the allure of Jaeger LeCoultre for them, and this was after the dinner, and I had some other occasion to talk to them, was that they felt that this was a brand that had a no nonsense and great value appraoch. There were other brands like that of course, but they heard that I was given a "free hand" to say whatever I wanted.

In other words...it was going to be a rant! That was the icing on the cake.

The cake was the Duometre and the new Compressors! My past reputation for being another Hawkeye Pierce or worse..."House MD"..was catching up on me.
