This dial, in my mind, is a re-rendition of the classical calendar-moonphase from early-mid 20th century. The wonderful puzzle in my mind is that JLC could—especially for the Perpetual model—condense so much graphics and information in a sub-37 dial and make it look balanced, elegantly legible and good.

The size increase is awful, but the price increase is even worse, it's a punch to the stomach of their collectors. I hate how JLC is being mistreated, because I love the brand.
