Almost all major brands are producing blue face watches. JLC followed the stream in 2017. I think that the JLC's blue is a bit plain and too bright and can get boring quite fast. But I am not sure as I saw it in a shop with artificial lights.

I would share your few suggested refinements to make this piece better, although I could live with the automatic movement (great decision by JLC not to write "Automatic/Automatique" on the dial!). The gold rotor is a nice touch, and I think demonstrates J...
However, this would be more of a bonus watch for me, as 39mm is the max dress watch size for me and I am still looking out for a white/silver dialed one first to fill the niche first!
