The design of those lines on the dial are fascinating to look at, not to mention the warm coloured hands against the paleness of the case and cream of the dial.

Your title of '...1957/1958' reminded me the song of The Connells - '74 '75 for some reasons. By the way it would put birth year for that generation exactly into 1957/1958.
