Variations on a 14K Ref 2744 Date @6
Here's a U.S.-model reference 2744 in both a worldtime and non-worldtime versions. The original dealer catalog shows the worldtime version with the 2nd version of the worldtime dial:
Interesting bit of trivia: both worldtime dial styles (concentric and radial) were offered simultaneously in the same years as shown by the additional dealer catalog page from the same year:
Also note:
1) The U.S. version of the Memovox was marketed as the "Beau Brummel Alarm" at this time
2) Also note that there were pocket alarms issued with worldtime dials from the factory

Thank you! The numerals and hands are pure JLC DNA! One detail that is not that common on JLC’s are the bezel. The profile of the bezel is high but not very wide, a detail I really love on the Reviel! Best Blomman

Actually, I believe that's a ref 3151 powered by a cal 489
The ref 3159 was produced immediately after the ref 3150 barrel-lug model and shares the came movement caliber and dial styles and back. All that changed was the lug type. Greg

The case reference isn't marked internally, but appears the same as the E855..... just houses a cal 815 non-date instead of the cal 825 w/date. Warning - very old pictures taken when I had a poor camera:...
