Was looking for this!
Hi,
Was looking for this exactly. Thanks for this link.
Now I understand that the 916 is a very good calibre. The 956 is a totally new alarm movement, based on modern insights and technologies.
One question remains to me, I believe I haven't read the answer to this. Please excuse me if I'm wrong.
What are the noticable differences between the 916 and 956 for the 'average' customers? I'm looking at a Master Compressor Memovox to become available. This model uses the 916 calibre. But the NSA (956 calibre) appeals to me very much too... Is the choice on the feeling you have or should the calibre be thought of as well? But than, I believe the MC Memovox can be bought (currently) for half the price of the NSA.
Greets, Rik

Hi Nicolas! ... I already read elsewhere that the 916 is the grandfather of the 918. Actually the product screen saying 918 was in front of me while typing and still I put 916 in my post. Thank you for the link. What a great and extensive post that is! Co...

That is very interesting because my cal. 878 manual says not to change the date between those hours because then the date change is active. I understand the 878 is a totally different calibre but still... Thanks for the info!
