Im very impressed by the approach you took in making your decision. A very mature and responsible attitude in such an acquisition.
You may be young, but you got a great head on your shoulders, and I applaud your parents and you for being a smart and refreshingly good kid.

I'm glad to read that horology is well deep seeded within your family, and the connection with JLC through the generations is fantastic. wink

So nice to see a young man put some thought into an important and valuable item.
Among the WIS community we are driven by our short sighted desires and act in haste and to fuel the addiction. LOL.

Thats quite a list you came up with. All great and valid choices.

For me, the Reverso's have a special place in my heart.
I love that they are very unique, well made, and classic timepieces.

The Gran Sport Reverso is a fantastic piece, and think its perfect for a young budding WIS.

I enjoyed your post, and Im sure I'll continue to read more in the future.

Wow, first Baron gets his Reverso a Chronographe Retrograde, the daddy to your Gran Sport Chronongraph, so to speak, and now you announce this one. Perfect! Nice that there is a tradition of JLCs in your family. I like your analysis and selection process....
