The sector dial is quite nice but I can't help but wonder if the Polaris on a rubber strap would be a better choice for the rought and tumble "life style" a 13 year old boy. It's also a bit more low key and on a rubber strap it probably won't stand out as... 

I think he will mostly wear the MC on weekends, special occasions, etc.

I've had 3 of them and I know how 13 year olds can be at times.

My eldest received a Blancpain at the same age. It's still going fine 5 years later, without even a dent, so there is hope!

Maybe it’s because I’m 50 years older than your son... 😕

Not a tasteful Breitling either. ☺️ I’m glad I did not have such a nice watch at that age, to be honest. Like a cool kid in high school with a Ferrari, it’s doubtful I would have worn the Breitling around my friends with humility. Even in my early 20s, I ... 

As a matter of fact, I had a Breitling (reasonably tasteful) for similar reasons when I was in my late teens. Not too flashy, but a Breitling nevertheless... I'm not sure I wore it with humility back then, but, funnily enough, it was adopted by my eldest ...

A nice clean, elegant watch that has a touch of sportiness and color to it. All at a fair price even. What's not to like?
