I totally agree with you that the Star collection does have a very strong and distinctive DNA, and Montblanc should retain these features in the continuing future development of the family.To me, the Star collection very well matches Monblanc's general image as a fine lifestyle brand.

Without date would have been even better but I think Montblanc had to compromise in order to reach a larger segment of watch aficionados. And the price is so good! Constantin

I'm probably one of the few here on PPro who prefer the date function.
But I am saying this from a functionality point of view, because I am very bad at remembering the date. Haha! In terms of aesthetics, however, I agree that the dial would look much more balanced and complete without the date window.

Many of my friends prefer having a date too. It\'s quite useful especially when you need to know the date for filling up forms, tearing parking coupons etc Cheers Robin

Montblanc watch buckles generally don\'t feature the MB star. They only have the Montblanc label on the buckle which makes the buckle a lot more discreet. Cheers Robin
