I think the answer is pretty clear from your post. Don't feel you have to get "the middle pillar" if you don't feel comfortable with the watches that are currently available due to concerns about size. I would wait if I were you. There is no pressure from... 

Montblanc is a house on the move with great things in store for the future. I would wait for that perfect size and movement.

At a great price and value. It's the case sizes I have slight issues with. I love their LeLocle movements. I don't think they will change the case size or design of their Nicolas Rieussec and Timewalker ranges in the near future. Rather there is a chance ...

I will revisit. It's looks very nice in your pic and it really differentiates from the other Timewalkers. If I have to criticize the normal steel Twinflys, it is that from far it looks like the other non Twinfly (non inhouse movements) Timewalkers. Dont g... 

I agree there is no need to rush. Also I am eyeing the new Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar. But that is not in my black/white trilogy theme although it fits me nicely. Will sleep over this for a few more weeks/months. Thanks Dean! Cheers Robin

Wait until the easy decision and obvious choice comes up. As for the two watches you compared, I would go for NR, as it's quite an iconic design. Unmistakably Montblanc.

but IMHO it is what is missing from your Montblanc collection. There is always a chance for a design change. Surely MB can slim down the 15mm in thickness down to maybe 12mm? While they are at it, the crown can be switched as well, looks to big currently.... 

Also get the upcoming Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar (which I have my sights on) , then I will have 5 Montblanc watches and be very broke! :) That will make me a crazy Montblanc watch collector! Not sure I am ready for that yet although it's a n... 

After trying a few more rounds and seeking more feedback from friends, it is clear the Twinfly and Nicolas Rieussecs are a tad too big for my small wrist. I would rather get something that fits me and will patiently wait for the Meisterstuck Heritage seri...
