Never say that we will never sell a watch - well at least that applies to me. So when I do buy a watch these days, not only must I love the watch (irrespective of brand) but it also must have a good resale value (not necessarily at a profit) because one thing I have learned is that if we buy the 'wrong' watches even though they may have appealed to us at time of purchase, it would be a financial disaster should we decide to sell it one day. I speak from experience - Daniel Roths, Gerald Gentas and a Manufacture Royale that all depreciated by 75% of their purchase price was particularly painful. 25 years later I see Daniel Roths are doing exceedingly well in the used market.
