Although I like how this watch looks on the OEM black alligator, I decided to make a change. I went with a grey nubuck strap, and I do like the color. I will have to see how it wears with this watch as it is a more delicate strap (less firm? Than alligato...  

The black alligator with that enamel dial is a bit too formal.

I do like that original look, but I'm not a super formal guy so it limits the use

Experimenting with straps is a wonderful addition to the hobby IMHO 👌🏻👍🏻

Do you do the change by yourself? It’s very delicate with these cases…

Definitely need to be careful, not something I will be going on and off with. This was a trial to see if it works well and have a custom 20-18 with curved spring bars made. This is 20-16 so no oem buckle right now.

Since my LF origin alacantara was very cool I have been wanting a nubuck or Alcantara look. The nubuck is a little 'neater'.

Yes both alcantara & nubuck would look great on this piece.

But then,every strap would look good on this beautiful watch!

I wish it had quick change 🤣

Adding red stitching to the grey strap to rhyme with red on the dial could be an option.
