is with the size! beside being 43mm is pretty thick so it wears bigger than many other watches. Today I visited the MB boutique and I tried on the Homage to Nicolas Rieussec: a detail that is better on the homage is the claps - the one on the homage there...

This was a good read and it looks very attractive. Does anyone know if the pattern on the dial was stamped or a traditional rose engine was used? (I also find myself wondering about this with JLC Reversos.) Best E.

Hi E I checked with my contact in MB and the guilloche patterns on the Nicolas Rieussec are stamped on the dial. The engine turned ones are on the high end pieces from the Villeret collection (engine turned on solid gold dials). Cheers Robin

Love the NR in rose gold and especially like your Hitchcock writing instrument. Thought long and hard about getting that one but the Einstein won me over instead. Nonetheless a beautiful instrument to go with your timepiece. Todd
