. . . and my respects to Mme Wyssmüller. Movement assembly has progressed immensely over the decades, but the facility to manually perform the adjustment of a hairspring imbues Minerva's movements with an aura of tradition that few others can aspire to, let alone match. As much as I admire the accomplishments of today's manufacturers in creating assembly line movements with a high degree of accuracy and consistency, the preservation of the craft as it was practiced for centuries is equally valuable, and much less common . . . cordially, Art
