Very interesting......

 


A truly great idea....

However, I do have a couple of questions/concerns....

Firstly, you said that Erwin Sattler collaborated in the clock...
Which way? Isn't the clock made by Montblanc? Sattler made it, or just the winder?

Secondly, I am very skeptic about the winder being on the clock...
If you wanted to place the clock in your living room, above the fireplace for example,
I do not think that it would be nice to have a watch in the winder- and without the watch
the winder would look funny/empty....

Now, if this project s successful ( or if enough people demand/convince Montbanc), then
Montblanc could manufacture similar clocks/ chronos without a winder...
I would then be extremely tempted to buy one....

they make already and have the production lines set up. I bet MB and Sattler teamed up to make the "chronograph" complication that went into the clock since the Sattler version is a time date only version. Cheers, Mike...

Very cool table clock. Good idea of Montblanc to have the winder set up with USB connection to allow for custom programming. Regards, ED-209

That looks pretty amazing. All Montblanc needs to do now is to make a Timewalker wall clock with DLC!
