Is the 341 too big for you?

Sorry if something like this has been posted before and I might be bringing up a controversial subject....I haven't been reading or posting on this board for a long while, just looking at all the 'large sized' watches produced by Panerai lately and wondering who have wrists large enough to wear the 341? There's no way wearing something like that would look anything but gaudy as a daily wearer for me. To be honest, I just wish they made a 42/44mm version of that. That would be my daily wearer. I understand PAMs were originally purposed to be dive watches so I get the size thing, but in it's new elite swiss watch status, is largeness really warranted in these watches other than a tribute to the 'largeness' of the original dive watches?

That watch is really a unique and solid design....but for me just a tad bit large to be wearing. I'm not special in any way to pull something off like that. I just think it would be a great seller for Panerai if it could be a daily wearer.
