No love for the 114?
Hello Panerai Afficionados,
I'm looking for my first Panerai and I came across the 114. I did a forum search and it seems that there are not much talk about it. Is it because of the white colored dial or the dial design? It seems that the numbered dial of the 114 is different from most of the other models. Do most Paneristis consider this as a "ladies" model because of the white dial?

I found some of them to be equally desirable
It is true that most PAM’s buyers do certainly prefer black dialed watches. In most cases I will the same, however for some of the Panerai pieces with no hesitation I would go for a white dialed version.

I wouldn't consider the PAM114 a "ladies" model
since it technically is a man's watch but ladies do seem to prefer white dialed watches and so many of them who wear Luminors tend to gravitate towards the PAM114. Cheers, Anthony
114 as for ladies....I don't think so.
Only because ladies tend to love the watch with white dial. With Panerai's white dial...they can enjoy changing various color of straps and all can be a very perfect combo with the watch. Cheers
