My perfect dream (apart from the small Egyziano...which is THE ultimate of course) how about a 372 in 44mm with 5128 dial? or if that is tooooo much to ask, how about a 372 44mm with a tobacco dial a la 390? as I said we can but dreammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

would be tantamount to shooting themselves in the foot. I mean, mucking around with the "iconic" would be suicidal, IMO. The Small Egiziano would be another story. From few pieces, way back when, to a limited edition (maybe with a manifattura movement or ... 

Which, to me, is essentially a pre-v logo dial in a pvd case. Therefore, I can't see why they wouldn't use the same dial in a 44mm 372 case? I don't think anything is off limits for Panerai. I think this is largely a good thing.

what I meant was that, the "other" guys, took a Logo as a template. Clearly Panerai wouldn't allowe an "hommage" to happen and they probably suggested a DLC version. On the obvious differences and nouances of the two pieces, guy like you, could write a wh...

between the 360 dial and the pre-v logo dial, which is why I said they were "essentially" the same. However, to me, I still think the 360 dial is a re-release of the famous pre-v logo dial. It's as near as Panerai's can probably get with their current man...

Full support of the 372 in the 390 guise. Love the 390. The 390 is on my short list of favorite Panerais. So classic, and in a manageable size. Admittedly, while I like the 47mms the most, the 390 is a watch that I can truly wear most of the time. Love th...
